Position Description:

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to help develop, promote and sustain PIMCO's Advisor Education value-add program that drives engagement and fuels loyalty within the firm's U.S. GWM business. The Senior Associate will partner closely with PIMCO's U.S. GWM business (e.g. Field Sales, Strategic Accounts, Sales Strategy, etc.) to help manage and develop educational program content geared toward financial intermediaries.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, analytical and written/verbal communication skills. This candidate will be interested in value-added content and learning about advisor education in the areas of practice management, wealth planning and investment management. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for operational support for the team in addition to internal research and content development.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Enhance Advisor Education's visibility and usage across USGWM channels, internal partners, etc.
  • Develop strong communication and working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Work with compliance departments to ensure materials adhere to guidelines
  • Work across marketing verticals to ensure materials are approved/available at partner firms; maintain and update firm-specific presentation content. Work across marketing verticals to ensure continuing education (CE) program filing.
  • Develop an efficient and timely process for the management of continuing education (CE) credits.
  • Manage internal monthly communication and maintain/update internal content sites.
  • Manage Advisor Education follow-up/bookend process for events/webinar.
  • Develop actionable data and reporting for advisor education programs to effectively allocate resources and inform direction.
  • Identify, research and develop thought leadership and educational content on practice management, wealth planning and investment consulting.
  • Monitor and report on usage and metrics; Manage and execute periodic updates of collateral and content.


This role can be based in New York, New York, or Austin, Texas.

Position Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of financial service industry, or related, experience
  • Familiarity with investment management, finance, capital markets, financial planning and related topics
  • Knowledge of financial advisor and RIA landscape, industry events, etc.
  • Research and technical skills along with interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, passion for educational/value-added content
