Principal Responsibilities
  • Content Development: The PCM will be responsible for creating new investment strategy and vehicle content, ad-hoc, "outlier" content and managing the development of a range of content outputs integral to the sales and marketing efforts of T. Rowe Price. This content will span both investment-related and non-investment topics and will include ESG/Responsible Investing and other topics that are of particular interest to the EMEA distribution channels.
  • Content Management: The PCM will be responsible (together with the content management team lead) for the review and refresh calendar supporting the continual content oversight process for the strategies managed outside of the US, ensuring that high quality content is upgraded and incorporated into the content management system in a timely manner. This may include capturing outliers and updating RocketDocs for investment and non-investment content. The PCM will coordinate efforts with the Content Management Team and follow global content management procedures.
  • Relationship Management: Primary duties include collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders whose input aids in shaping high-quality institutional content, including:
    • Content managers and other PCMs globally;
    • RFP Editors, RFP Specialists, and Consultant Database Analysts;
    • Investment Strategy Writers (ISWs);
    • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);
    • Portfolio Analysts, Specialists, and Managers;
    • Market-Facing Professionals; and
    • Other groups including Proofreading, MDI, and GCIR.
  • Firm-Wide SME: The PCM will serve as a firm-wide SME for RocketDocs and be responsible for the coordination of new user training and existing user training/updates with the vendor.
  • RFP Assistance: The PCM will participate in the RFP pipeline and complete RFPs, RFIs, or DDQs consistent with business need and when the RFP team is over capacity, or provide support to develop and track down responses related to their area of expertise.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Previous experience working in this field (5 years of RFP writing/content development)
  • Thorough understanding of institutional and/or third party investment management business
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and services ideally across multiple asset classes and distribution channels
  • Experience in financial writing or technical writing
  • Experience editing proposals and with strong editorial skills
  • Strong understanding of the industry's competitive landscape
  • Experience interfacing with senior market facing professionals
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel, as requested
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Adapts well to changing priorities

Preferred:
  • Experience working with a content management system (for example RocketDocs)
  • Experience with development of RFPs within the investment management industry
  • Outstanding editorial skills
  • IMC or CFA desirable.
  • Fluency in more than one European language is desirable.
