We are searching for a Portfolio Manager to manage equity and fixed income portfolios for our private wealth clients. The successful candidate will be a financial analyst with strong academic credentials and an investment philosophy with a long-term time horizon. The individual will be energetic, a strong team player, and have a desire to build a long term career with the firm.  Heritage offers professional, personalized investment management to meet the individual objectives of its clients. Each portfolio is tailored to meet the needs of the client, and includes individual equities and fixed income securities selected to meet a client’s objectives and goals. Heritage utilizes a bottoms up methodology with a top down overlay when constructing and reviewing portfolios. All Portfolio Managers are tasked with supporting the fundamental research process that underpins our investment approach.

Skills:

  • Experience in research or portfolio management
  • Strong fundamental research skills
  • In-depth understanding of financial models, securities analysis and valuation techniques
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to organize and assimilate large amounts of information quickly
  • MBA and willing to pursue CFA designation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable in a small office environment
  • Self-motivated and highly analytical
  • Unquestionable integrity and dependability
