We provide trade execution capabilities, research data, analytics calculations, concise reports across a diverse array of financial investments that enable us to invest wisely and explain concisely to our clients what risk/reward decisions are being made.

We provide the building blocks, platforms and self-service tools that enable high availability, operationally resilient and scalable applications to be built to enable our business to deliver value to our clients. Quite simply, we make it easier for other people to operate. As part of this team, you will join a talented group of technology professionals who enjoy taking on challenges, such as:

• Own the engagement with teams as they adopt AWS
• Solve the complexity around building horizontally scalable services.
• Build cloud native mindshare across company
• Partner with business leaders to find opportunities and value from cloud computing
• Ensure our cloud deployments are secure and robust
• Establish best practices for our cloud foundation

Position Description:

• Ideal candidate works with developers, infrastructure, security, and platform teams to create delightful experience for developers.
• Build and nurture an internal "community ecosystem"
• Engage with developers and drive consistency in the development patterns
• Influence - Advocate the needs of developer community, and bring their feedback back to infrastructure, security, platform teams for continuous improvement
• Code - create code samples and demo apps to enable developers
• Write - Write/Edit documentation, blog posts and tutorials. Ensure the documentation is relevant and discoverable

We have latitude to hire this role in Austin, Newport Beach, or Remote.

Position Requirements:

• You are technically adept, and comfortable with one or more general purpose programming language - Java, .NET, Python
• You have 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Architect, Technical Advocate, Community manager or Consultant
• You have a background in supporting developer communities, open source projects or user groups
• You have the ability to effectively collaborate in a global, matrixed organization - This role is highly cross-functional
• You have demonstrated empathy for developers.
• Your experience in popular open source frameworks (Spring, Steeltoe, Django) is a plus
