Position Description:
The Private Client Group plays a unique and dynamic role that is based around the core responsibility of servicing, and engaging in business development activities with PIMCO's largest registered investment advisors, multi-family offices, and trust banks. The individuals that make up this team work in a collaborative manner to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to clients.
The primary responsibility of the Analysts and Associates is to work alongside account managers, understanding and maintaining a working knowledge of clients and PIMCO products and solutions. The Analyst/Associate will partner with Account Managers as well as liaise with other stakeholders in business development and client servicing efforts. In addition to client servicing responsibilities, many members of the group participate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program through the CFA Institute, CIMA, CAIA or other relevant financial designations.

Key Relationships
- PIMCO investment professionals, including members of the U.S. GWM Private Client Group, product strategists, business development support, sales strategy, and CRM teams
- Current and prospective clients
- Work with account managers (AMs) to engage prospects and servicing existing clients
- Act as a liaison between RFP team and various Subject Matter Experts to proactively coordinate responses to client data requests
- Assist in managing client service requests by helping to qualify and distribute client questionnaires and ad-hoc requests
- Assist in the creation and production of materials needed for client meetings
- Assist in CRM projects to help better cover our clients and prospects
- Coordinate with GWM Sales Strategy to ensure the AMs have insight into sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Position Requirements:

- Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite software and able to quickly adapt to learning new software applications
- Solutions minded, innovative, result oriented and possessing a curious and inquiring mind
Account Analyst
- Qualified candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry and a strong interest in fixed income and economics. College internships in finance, client-oriented roles are preferred
Account Associate
- Qualified candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in financial services, asset management, investment banking or accounting. A strong background and/or interest in fixed income and economics is important.
- Qualified candidates are familiar with fixed income instruments and the economic underpinnings of the fixed income asset class.
