Corporate Finance (CF) of Acuity is an award-winning team providing a full spectrum of investment banking services which include advisory on Mergers & Acquisitions, capital raising advisory, placement of equity and fixed income securities, loan syndications and structured finance products as well as related advisory services. 

The following vacancy has arisen in the Corporate Finance division of Acuity Partners (Pvt) Ltd - to be filled by a dedicated team player who is a ambitious high performer, capable of delivering in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Assistant Vice President /Associate

The selected candidate will get involved in sourcing new clients, assessing the clients’ investment banking requirements and advising the clients on raising equity or debt capital, securing investments, acquisitions and listings. On mandated transactions, the individual would be involved in a senior role as part of the investment banking team on execution of capital raising, M&A and advisory services, responsible for handling the entire transaction process to its completion.    

The ideal candidate must hold a relevant degree/professional qualification from a recognized University/Institute, and/or a recognized accounting/finance qualification, and/or full/part qualified in CFA.  A background in sales or client relationship management with a good network of suitable client contacts will be a definite advantage.

Experience in Corporate Finance, Advisory and Capital Markets with a minimum of 4 - 6 years’ experience will be required for the said position. Excellent analytical, writing and negotiation skills coupled with good interpersonal, communication, deal placement and presentation skills are key attributes for this job. Ability to multitask and to transition between multiple projects/ sectors, leading a team and to manage time effectively while being driven towards the successful execution of transactions is a must.
