What you'll be doing:
  • Ensure the comprehensive and timely provision of ongoing fund and portfolio performance commentary, which can be reliably accessed by key stakeholders and in the most optimal medium.
  • Proactively engage with the Investment Communications team to create insightful updates to Partners and Clients regarding unfolding market events and expected changes to the SJP investment proposition, including strategic and propositional considerations.
  • Deliver the investment content for all fund and portfolio documentation e.g. KIDD's, Factsheets, SJP website, AIFMD, AMMS VAS, so that it remains accurate, consistent and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Investment Consultancy teams and senior members of the Investment Division in responding to ad hoc requests regarding the performance and positioning of SJP's funds and portfolios.
  • Monitor and project future fund capacity to identify potential areas of concern so that mitigating actions can be agreed and implemented in a timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic fund manager fee review and industry analysis to support negotiation of discounts.
  • Assign and monitoring SJP fund and portfolio risk ratings.
  • Strong advocate of division values of Energy, Teamwork and Openness to foster an enjoyable and inclusive environment


Who we're looking for:

An effective communicator with a technical ability and knowledge of a broad range of investment funds. Including:
  • Excellent knowledge of investment funds, covering a broad range of fund vehicles, asset classes and investment styles with comprehensive technical knowledge of liquid asset classes and good working understanding of illiquid alternatives such as private equity and real estate
  • Knowledge of exposure and risk analysis systems e.g. Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presenting skills and ability to adapt approach to suit the relevant audience
  • Knowledge of regulations surrounding products in scope and implications across all investment related literature
  • Appreciation of commercial aspects of the fund management industry that are critical when negotiating fee levels
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent
  • Preferably attained or working towards CFA qualification, or equivalent
