Job Description for The Boyar Value Group Analyst Position

We are looking for an equity research analyst (at least 2 years of relevant experience is required to be considered for this position) to be part of the team that authors and analyzes reports that are featured in our institutional research publications. The role for the candidate would be to help generate equity ideas to be featured in our publications; conduct a detailed financial analysis to determine our estimate of intrinsic value for each company we consider for publication; and help author detailed reports on a monthly basis to be distributed to an institutional audience. The candidate would also be employed by our affiliated asset management firm and would also have traditional buy side responsibilities. The starting total compensation will be between $85K and $125K, with a significant opportunity to advance within the firm.

To be considered as a candidate you must submit a write-up on a company that you were primarily responsible for both authoring that demonstrates your idea generation capabilities, analytical skills, and writing ability.

The candidate must have:

• A value oriented investment style
• Excellent quantitative abilities
• Excellent writing skills
• At least 2 years of relevant financial experience
