Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Vice President, ETF Marketing Manager, experienced in brand building and developing data-driven marketing strategies, with a keen interest in helping to evolve our rapidly growing ETF business. In this key role, and as part of the Strategic Initiatives Client Marketing (CM) team, you will lead the strategic development of multi-year marketing programs and audience activation efforts for our ETF business across the US Wealth Management and CM Americas (including US Institutions, Latin America, and Canada) businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a multi-year strategy for raising awareness of our ETF suite across advisor and end-client audiences
  • Proactively collaborate with the broader marketing team (e.g., product marketing, digital, events, advertising, design, etc.) and stakeholders across sales and strategy teams to effectively execute strategy
  • Develop evergreen, multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness of and engagement with PIMCO's ETF platform (e.g., products and capabilities)
  • Develop multi-channel campaigns designed to promote consideration of PIMCO solutions and more swiftly transition advisors to sales-qualified leads
  • Maintain a "test and learn" approach - continuously analyzing campaign performance data, sharing meaningful sales and marketing insights, and incorporating findings into future campaign iterations
  • Develop customer-focused ETF marketing strategy that is built around customer journeys designed to increase PIMCO ETF adoption by target segments and capitalize on identified market opportunities (including channels and key touchpoints)
  • Manage an ETF marketing project pipeline, with project prioritization to be continuously refined in response to real-time market conditions, events, and changing business needs

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services marketing, with some portion of that experience specifically in the ETF space
  • Proven ability to ideate and manage brand campaigns required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ETF investments required (including in-depth knowledge of the target market's investment needs, concerns, and decision-making process)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the RIA space and broad advisor (wirehouse and independent) customer base required
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets) and content management systems (e.g., Seismic)
  • Experience in multi-channel awareness campaign management and familiarity with digital advertising strongly preferred
