About the Department
UOB Asset Management is a leading Asian asset manager with award-winning investment expertise in fixed income and equities. Headquartered in Singapore, we offer global investment management expertise to individuals, institutions and corporations from a regional network spanning Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Japan and beyond. Our comprehensive product suite includes innovative solutions covering retail unit trusts, exchange-traded funds and customised portfolio management services.

Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with our Institutional Sales team and bank Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, generate client leads and market investment funds and solutions to corporate clients of UOB.

  • Marketing investment funds and solutions to third party clients, including preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).

  • Developing and delivering customised investment proposals for such solutions in close consultation with portfolio managers and analysts.

  • Performing client onboarding, managing client relationships and servicing of client requirements.

  • Supporting proposal preparation to sophisticated clients of Group Wholesale Banking.


Job Requirements
  • A degree holder with minimum 3 years' investment sales and marketing experience in a similar capacity in the asset management, financial services industry and/or experience providing capital market solutions to corporate or institutional clients.

  • As a sales driven individual, excellent customer skills and a strong sense of initiative, drive and ability to work under pressure to meet and exceed sales objectives.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of investment assets and products, and strong ability to present investment proposals.

  • Experience with fund sales in a corporate wealth or financial advisory environment is a definite advantage.

  • Able to work independently, possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • CFA charterholder and/or fund management experience would be a strong advantage.
