Senior Segment Manager / Segment Manager (Cross-border Segment)

Responsibilities

Formulate effective cross-border strategies and plans, executive long-term and short-term business development strategies according to the KPI of personal banking and wealth management department
Liaise with Bank of China in China mainland to promote the corporation for better development of products and channels
Communicate with clients and take part in sales events of frontline and provide the first-hand cross-border information. Improve the professional image as well as business performance under the requirement of compliance;
Provide the first-hand information of cross-border segment to frontline, work closely with marketing division to improve business performance
Support districts / branches having appropriate training on relevant business to improve the professionality, sale ability and compliance;
Support the colleague in the frontline to improve their understanding of cross-border business and shoulder the KPI
Help front-office colleagues make and execute
Focus on the changes of market and clients demand, work closely with product division to achieve product optimization
Thoroughly understanding the requirements of legal and compliance in both China and oversees to mitigate the risks of all business

Requirements

Bachelor degree holder or above;
Major in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related discipline; Or have one or more qualification in CFP、CFA、CFMP etc.
5+ years experience in banking and financial industry; Familiar with personal banking and wealth management and financial products, (including deposit, fund, bond, security. Structured instruments, Insurance, Mortgage, etc.); Knowledge of local compliance requirements, peer business strategies, market trend (Previous experience in related area is preferable) and culture in China mainland; Familiar with the rationale behind banking operation; and basic knowledge of risk management, rationale and framework (Previous experience in related area is a plus); excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation and reporting writing skills
Knowledge of advanced information technology and statistics application
Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua and Cantonese
Competent in MS office application (Word, Excel, Power Point and etc.) and Chinese & English input method
Less experience will be considered as Segment Manager
