Head of Investments

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading and managing the investments of the firm
Actively initiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders especially investment partners
Play a key role in setting investment strategy and capital allocation across multiple asset classes
Take the lead in sourcing new investment opportunities across multiple geographies and asset classes including but not limited to real estate and operating companies
Perform research and due diligence on potential investment ideas with recommendations for approval
Engage in the investment process from identification to closure including Due Diligence
Responsible for Risk Monitoring and Red Flag reporting across investments
Present in quarterly board meetings with the principals
Coordinate with various departments such as Finance and Legal to ensure effective operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in a relevant role overseeing a wide and diverse range of investment classes
Demonstratable experience in building relations across diverse group of external stakeholders
Proven skills in developing investment leads and opportunities
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities
Broad understanding of diverse range of business sectors and markets
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Analytical mind with working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics
High level of integrity and dependability, with diligent work ethic
Highly organized with good time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail

Education/Certifications/Experience

College degree and MBA from a reputable university in Europe or USA is a must
Education and work experience in Europe/USA is an essential requirement
15+ years' investment experience in either Investment Banking/Private Equity/Real Estate is a must
CFA/CMA qualified is a strong preference but not required
