Junior VP - Private Equity Fund Investment

We are working with a leading global investment fund to hire a Junior Vice President for their European Private Equity Fund Investment Team (Fund of Funds).

With an exceptionally strong financial backing, our client has invested across a multitude of asset classes and strategies in developed markets and built a multibillion dollar portfolio of assets. As they continue to regularly deploy capital, there is a need to hire a mid-level investment professional with experience of investing in European private equity funds.

This is an outstanding opportunity where the successful candidate will be involved in meetings with the senior management of the leading European GPs, building an outstanding network with top-tier funds across Europe and developing an excellent deal track record.

The Junior VP will;

• Report directly to the Head of European Private Equity and play a key role originating and executing investments in European private equity funds.
• Take responsibility for the execution of investments including conducting financial analysis, modelling and in-depth off-site and on-site due diligence of GPs.
• Prepare and help to present Investment Committee presentations and memorandums.
• Regularly interact with GPs and industry professionals to generate investment opportunities.
• Conduct portfolio analysis, monitoring and prepare reports and recommendations to the Senior Management on the performance of the portfolio.
• Provide training to junior members of the team as and when needed.
• Have the opportunity to regularly invest and deploy significant sums of capital.

Interested candidate will;

• Be currently sitting in a Senior Associate, Junior VP or equivalent position in the PE Fund Investment Team (Fund of Funds) of a leading investor.
• Have a proven deal track record investing in European private equity funds.
• Have started their career in a top-tier or international bank.
• Possess a very strong and all round skill set including strong financial analysis and due diligence experience.
• Hold a finance, mathematics or related degree from a highly regarded university and preference will be given to those who hold an MBA or CFA qualification.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of management.
