AVP/VP, Financial Institutions Group (FI), Corporate Bank

Overview

Due to continued investment and growth in the region, a foreign corporate bank is seeking to hire a Assistant Vice President / Vice President , Financial Institutions Relationship Manager, for the Financial Institutions Group department to develop and grow a portfolio of assigned FI portfolio.

Role Responsibilities

• Be responsible for managing and growing the assigned Financial Institutions sector portfolio through new customer acquisition and deep penetration of existing client relationships
• Promote bank products and financial solutions to deepen client wallet share and build strong relationships with FIs such as banks, securities, asset managers, insurers, leasing and public sector clients.
• Working in parallel with the Credit Management team, to oversee the credit application and memo write up, and be accountable to continuous monitoring of credit performance of the customer portfolio.
• Research and provide industry and client insights on prospective target client base.
• Handle communication and credit related matters with clients
• Oversee documentation matters of existing and new transaction after credit approval;
• Provide ad-hoc support to the business department when neccesary

Requirements

• 4-8 years Financial Institutions relationship management experience, in either Bank FI or NBFI client experience from a well-known reputable banking institutions
• Sharp credit analysis judgement including financial analysis and cash flow projection skills
• Product knowledge in loan facility, cash management, trade finance and derivative products; and structured facilities
• Bachelor's Degree; Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, FRM are desirable
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation/excel and powerpoint skills in english;
• Due to target customer segment, proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
