About The Job

The Data Management Team has for main missions:

  •  
    • RADAR project leader of Risk BP2S, in charge of BP2S coordination and action plan definition and implementation:
    • Centralize RADAR requests and coordinate the answer to provide to the BP2S RADAR project leader,
    • Guarantee the integrity of risk data input in BP2S Risk systems and used in Intraday controls,
    • Guarantee the implemented authorizations in conformity with the credit decisions,
    • Ensure the creation of legal entities (CRDS) codes in adequacy with the client’s typology and with the risk incurred,
    • The team perimeter is global, whatever the type of counterparts, the region or the type of risk generated (some exceptions exist for tasks performed out of other teams based in Jersey, Americas and Luxembourg),
    • Ensure data quality of BP2S risk referentials

Your Main Activities Are

  • The Data Management team has 2 main missions:
  • Guarantee the implementation of the credit authorizations granted to BP2S clients as per the credit decision
  • Ensure data quality of Risk BP2S referential
  • 1) Credit Authorizations implementation
  • For an adequate creation of limits into the Risk BP2S tools the first step is to identify correctly the client in the referential system.

Client identification

  • In the group referential for global market clients CRDS based upon the information received from the KYC process
  • When already available match the newly created CRDS code to the existing RMPM code (for clients non existing in RMPM the creation is actually performed through the CRDS / RMPM interface)
  • Creation of legal and non-legal entities in relation with BP2S and who may generate exposure either by having credit limits and or cash accounts
  • Association of CRDS clients ID with BP2S ID (RCA) in beacon to allow proper monitoring.

Credit Authorization implementation

  • Upon receipt of the minutes, dully signed by the designated delegation holder, Data management inputs the approved global credit line from Risk Institutionals, stored in the tool CPA.
  • GCL sub allocation in credit limits, by products and by location
  • Record of the collateral decided by the credit committee in Beacon to allow proper monitoring by the Collateral Management Unit.
  • Data quality of Risk referentials

Beacon CAT reconciliation

  • Data management reconciles
  • Collateral reporting / follow up with Collateral Monitoring Unit
  • Designs and follows up data quality indicators.

Contribution to the Risk Function Data quality initiatives

  • Reports main issues
  • Contributes to the resolution of data quality issues identified at group level.

RADAR project

  • Act as a single point of contact for risk topics related to the RADAR project and sub projects
  • Organize the cartography self-assessment and subsequent follow-up of the agreed-upon actions plan.

Profile And Skills To Success

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Finance or Economics
  • Previous professional experience in Credit Risk Analysis

About The Team

Reporting line:

  • Data Management belongs to and reports directly the BP2S Risk Office department.
  • The head of risk office reports to BP2S CRO, a BP2S exco member with a direct report to RISK function at group level (i.e head of Risk I2S)

Scope

  • Within Securities Services, the Data management team is working t working with all kind of stakeholders and all BP2S locations and interacts with different business lines and other functions.
  • Maintains close interactions with Risk Function teams Risk Institutionals for Credit decision, process enhancements related to RADAR project, Data intelligence for Data Quality matters.
