Main Purpose

The individual will be responsible for assisting with investment proposal development such as RFP/RFIs and DDQs in relation to Man AHL's strategies, as well helping with operational and investment due diligence on behalf of clients and consultants.

The successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality and professional materials, efficiently and to a high standard. Based in London, the role will be within the Quantitative Investment Services team, working closely with Man AHL client portfolio management and sales personnel across Man Group.

Responsibilities
  • Help to complete RFIs/RFPs and due diligence questionnaires predominately for range of Man AHL's quantitative strategies
  • Contribute to proposal requirements with sales and other appropriate stakeholders, and review provided documentation to identify prospect/client key objectives
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client portfolio managers/sales/key stakeholders
  • Provide ad hoc and regular reporting to investors where appropriate
  • Assist in projects including planning, organising timelines and project deliverables

Key Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, 2:1 or above and willingness to take further industry qualifications would be advantageous (CFA, CAIA, IMC etc)
  • Approximately 2 years' experience within the industry and an understanding of the basics of the financial landscape within investment management
  • Ability to work with members of sales and investment management to support sales priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Ability to work independently within a team to meet demanding deadlines. Works comfortably in an entrepreneurial environment, seeks to continuously enhance own relevant skills
  • Good ability in Word, PowerPoint and Excel with Qvidian experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Strong analytical ability with good attention to detail / accuracy
