Global multi-strategy hedge fund seeks a technically-oriented Business Analyst / Project Manager to manage a wide range of tasks in support of their trading operations in New York City. This exciting business critical role will suit someone with strong software engineering and relationship management skills, a delivery/execution mindset, and who is interested in operating at the intersection of the financial markets, innovation and technology.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Primary point of contact with Portfolio Managers and Traders to facilitate the technical aspects of their trading activity;
-Assist in the design and implementation of new solutions in support of trading;
-Business analysis; requirements gathering, user stories, technical specifications;
-Project Management; coordinate and deliver technical projects in complex and rapidly evolving environments;
-Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams across compliance, finance, legal, operations, risk, tech and trading;
-Manage external broker, vendor and other 3rd party relationships;
-Ad hoc strategic and tactical project initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring experience in the following:
-2-4 years' in a business analyst, product manager, project manager or technical analyst type role in support of trading operations at a bank, hedge fund or prop trading firm;
-Strong technical toolkit with hands-on programming in C++, C#, Java, Python and/or SQL;
-Knowledge of bonds, credit, derivatives, equities, fixed income, fx, futures and rates products;
-Strong knowledge of market structure and e-trading platforms;
-External / internal stakeholder relationship management;
-Bachelors (in, ie: computer science, engineering, finance, math, operations research or statistics) from a top school;
-Professional certification (ie: CFA or PMP) preferred;
-Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
-An interest/passion for technology and innovation.
