Responsibilities: 

To assist Unit Head in managing Portfolio Assessment & Insight Unit and executing assigned tasks towards meeting all of the unit's and the department's objectives as follows:-

●   To provide value added-insight to fund managers as well as other relevant stakeholders towards improving investment performance and strategy via evaluating the historical risk-return performance of funds covering all asset classes and undertaking performance-related research covering internal and external funds.

●   To conduct extensive appraisal and analysis on fund performance i.e. contribution breakdown, attributions using appropriate analytical, statistical and benchmarking tools; as well as to present findings to the management and stakeholders via production of reports, presentations and engagements.

●   To onboard any new data systems and new data sources, which includes undertaking long-term project management involving firmwide and external stakeholders as well as change management process.

●   To execute data processing activities which involves but not limited to, data collection, reformatting and reconciliation to ensure data consistencies and integrity is maintained in the data pipelines and for reporting purposes.

●   To engage and collaborate with relevant projects' internal and/or external stakeholders to achieve the overall special projects and strategic initiatives goals of the department as well as organisation, in general.

Requirements :

●   Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Actuarial Science / Computing /
Economics / Finance / Mathematics / Statistics or other related disciplines.

●   Applicants with professional qualification such as CFA, Accountancy related qualification, or other related qualification will have an added advantage.

●   Minimum of six (6) years working experience in investment environment or related field.

●   Possess strong performance measurement, attribution and appraisal as well as quantitative finance skills.

●   Experience and knowledge in implementation and onboarding of new analytics data system as well as data sources an added advantage.

●   Possess structured thinking, strong analytical & presentation skills and good in preparation of slides & report
writing.

●   Excellent command of both spoken and written English.

●   Possess good managerial and coaching skills.
