Position Description:

Position Description
We are looking for a strategic and innovative marketing candidate with deep technical expertise in video production and live broadcasting to advance PIMCO's multimedia efforts and lead the multimedia team. In this role, you will collaborate on, plan and execute engaging and differentiated multimedia experiences for clients and employees.

Role responsibilities include:
  • Manage a global network of multimedia vendors and agency resources, as well as a small team
  • Work with Marketing leadership to evolve and optimize the multimedia model, introducing scalable multimedia solutions, driving innovation and creativity, and building strong agency partnerships
  • Plan and execute internal and external multimedia programs and live/on-demand webcasts; covering brand, thought leadership, product, education, corporate responsibility, and employee engagement
  • Partner with Channel Marketing, Brand, Design, Content, and other key stakeholders to create fully integrated client experiences aligned to the global brand vision and local business objectives
  • Coach and direct talent at all levels, including "C" suite level executives, to produce high-quality, authentic, and impactful video and event content
  • Utilize best-in-class technical practices to communicate the right message, to the right audience, at the right time, in the right way; driving engagement through audio, video, animation, and graphics
  • Oversee vendors and manage broadcasting platforms both locally and globally to deliver programs on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with compliance to ensure all multimedia activity is fully compliant with regulations
  • Measure and optimize the performance of all multimedia programs delivered

Position Requirements:

Candidates should demonstrate their ability to:
  • Effectively manage, coach, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Manage a large volume of multiple assignments and tasks, collaborate with relevant teams while working under intense deadline pressure and tight budgets
  • Work directly with "C" suite level executives
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Manage agency partners / vendor relationships
  • Work closely with project managers, copywriters, digital and design directors
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in animation, interactive and editing computer technology, as well as modern trends in production design and popular music

Candidates should have a solid technical knowledge of video production to:
  • Oversee post-production including sound mixes, design, and composition
  • Coordinate with broadcast studio technical operations
  • Proficiency with Global Meet webcast platform and expertise of other webcast and virtual event platforms
  • Editing experience a plus

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Video/Film Production, or a related field
  • 10+ years of work experience in video production, producing, writing, live broadcasting, executive presentations, and live events
  • Financial services industry experience a plus
