Position Description:

PIMCO is seeking a data-driven and strategic marketing leader with demonstrated success in building creative and interlinked experiences across key media & activation channels to drive value/ROI.

This is a compelling role for candidates looking to design and develop a best in class client experience that builds brand equity, increases audience engagement and drives growth. This role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders, including senior investment professionals, as well as external agency partners, where necessary.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead media and activation efforts and manage a small team
  • Define and execute an innovative and creative media & activation strategy in alignment with brand and client experience priorities, as well as firm-wide objectives, to deliver measurable results
  • Own, manage and optimize key media & activation platforms including, paid media, social media, multimedia events/broadcast & web; maximize investment and drive superior results
  • Produce creative multimedia content/assets/programs; elevating creativity & bringing PIMCO's brand, capabilities & products to life through video, audio, animation, podcasts etc
  • Drive integration of key messages and build interlinked experiences across all platforms
  • Establish and manage processes/frameworks to drive operational excellence across the media & activation model; ensuring content on activation platforms is accurate, up-to-date & connected to overarching brand story and key priorities
  • Keep up to date with client experience best practices, emerging technologies and industry trends to drive quality/out of the box thinking on client engagement to give PIMCO a competitive edge
  • Use data and client insights to build an agile media & activation framework for producing and amplifying quick hit multimedia content for the right audience, at the right time


Position Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in media, communications or marketing related discipline

Experience:
  • A proven leader with 10+ years' experience leading a similar team within a global organization
  • Deep experience in developing and optimizing client experience
  • Creative agility and business acumen/strong financial management
  • Strong technical knowledge of video production and live broadcasting
  • Experience in driving ROI across paid media and social media
  • Exceptional organizational and program management skills, including the ability to manage a large number of ongoing initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through the use of effective interpersonal and communication skills, seeking cross-functional input as well as ensuring a high level of attention to detail, and timely follow through
  • Experience working across, or having other exposure to, a number of geographic markets globally
  • Knowledge of the applicable financial regulations in the U.S beneficial
