Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled business analyst (BA) with a strong technical background who wants to sit at the intersection of portfolio risk and technology and who will work closely with Risk and Financing desks to provide technology to the alternatives business. As a BA in this team you will be driving the expansion of Alternatives risk management solutions in close collaboration with the recently formed Alternatives technology group and delivering to the desk while iterating to an efficient platform.

Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in financial technology
- Coding ability in Python and SQL (role will be coding 10-20% of the time)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to build constructive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills with ability for thought leadership
- Understanding of financial risk concepts
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience within Portfolio Risk or Alternatives is highly desirable
