Our client, a well-established family office, is seeking an Analyst, Fund Manager Research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct global hedge fund managers research and selection, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis on both investment and operational due diligence
- Interview managers, scorecard write-up, produce thorough investment memos and research reports for presenting to investment director
- Review existing portfolio funds and the respective external managers
- Maintain and update research models and managers' related data
- Conduct risk management analytics and portfolio construction, and ad hoc research on capital markets / macro-economic environment
- Produce monthly portfolio updates
- Assist in fund operations, such as NAV / performance fee calculation, cash reconciliation, etc
Requirements
- University graduate with degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance or related discipline. CFA / other relevant investment-related designation is well-regarded
- At least three years of relevant working experience in investment management, hedge funds, manager selection is highly preferred fund
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to details and accuracy
- Strong skills in MS Excel is required
