PMG Management Office ("PMO") is the Operating Centre of Excellence for Product Management Group across all offerings, all teams and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives, data management, new products, change and transformation including Advisory & Execution, operational risk and business management.
Reporting to the Content Led Wealth Management head, The Product Owner ("PO") for Advisory and Analytics is responsible for the product vision and roadmap working with squads and project teams to ensure timely delivery. The PO is a persistent role that goes beyond an individual project. The role holder will work with various system and process owners that contribute to or are part of the overall product area. The key responsibilities will include:

  • Define strategic product vision for advisory and analytics with the customer experience in mind and related key objectives. The PO is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the squad(s) while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features/ components. He has to anticipate & understand client needs and define customer journey.
  • Manage stakeholders, Be the key liaison between squad(s) and users, anticipate and organise/ manage user council / advisory forums as well as conduct user training
  • Establish the product roadmap & ensures availability of product features (via the product backlog) that addresses customers' needs. Manage product backlog, backlog prioritisation meeting and QBR. Prioritise user stories / product features.
  • Participate in release / sprint planning & provide signoff for sprint demo and feedback to the Delivery team. Evaluate product progress at each iteration (measured against key results) , Plan sprints and drive backlog refinement sessions, Participate in Scrum of Scrums,
  • Manages UAT (incl. coverage) & ensures signoff and provide inputs on performance appraisal of delivery team
  • Drive continuous product (& roadmap) improvements new project features and deliveries required to address users' feedback and changing customer needs. Ensure constant customer feedback loop. Track product adoption & engagement, responsible of ROI.
  • Agree with the technology partner on any squad formation matters such as hiring, mitigation plans. Engage cross-functional stakeholders and users to ensure the released developments meet the user needs (including User Experience) and supports the business objectives of strategic growth, revenue uplift, enhanced client experience, improved risk management and operational efficiency. Partner with external vendors (as required) to jointly deliver the aspirations of portfolio management within scope, timelines, and budget. Engage L&C for feature rollout & obtains regulatory approvals
Main Duties:
Managing a project team, the Advisory and Analytics PO main responsibilities will be
  1. Definition of relevant risk measurement indicators and portfolio risk/return optimization approach, in close collaboration with Front Office and CIO teams.
  2. Selection and on-boarding of a new solution for Advisory Portfolio optimization
  3. Definition of the Target Operating Model for processes impacting RMs, ICs and Client experience.
  4. Streamline the processes to digitalize the advisory, products personalization, and proposal generation.
  5. Work closely with in-house technology and architecture team to provide integrated solution that suits with bank of Singapore ecosystem.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing Projects end to end, from Inception to roll-out & training.
  • Proven experience in leading transformational projects in wealth & asset management or portfolio management business within a private bank
  • Deep expertise in advisory and portfolio management businesses in wealth management
  • Degree, master's degree in computer science, Technology, Finance
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical expertise in financial products as advisor, portfolio manager or sales and marketing
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to complex demands in a diverse culture
  • A driven self-starter who is delivery focused and possesses strong communication, influencing and presentation skills. W ell organized with a natural inclination for conceptual thinking, planning strategy and solutioning; able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and good interpersonal skills, the candidate will demonstrate ability to work confidently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Relevant certifications or qualification (CFA) is advantageous.
