Position Summary

The Internal Sales Associate partners with TCW’s Regional Sales Consultants (external wholesalers) to source, develop and enhance financial advisor relationships in the National & Independent Broker-Dealer channels. They will communicate with financial professionals on a wide range of investment related topics including: portfolio process & philosophy, positioning, outlook, risk metrics, performance and related capital market developments.  This position provides the opportunity to learn a broad array of investment products and strategies, as well as, further develop sales skills.  Overtime, the Internal Sales Associate will receive increasing prospecting and sales responsibilities in an effort to enhance territory coverage and net new business. 

Essential Duties

  • Partner with external wholesalers to optimize and grow territory coverage and market share
  • Proactively engage with financial advisors via phone and other digital means to build relationships, educate them on TCW’s offerings and raise net new assets.
  • Provide timely market perspectives, sales literature, analytics and service deliverables
  • Implement periodic sales and marketing campaigns
  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Participate in periodic travel to support territory & marketing initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Series 7 & 63 Licenses (or within first 90 days)
  • 1 - 3 years Sales experience within financial services
  • Working knowledge of capital markets & financial instruments
  • Comfortable communicating with and presenting to senior finance professionals
