Relationship Management Associate

What you’ll do: 

As a Relationship Management Associate at Ethic you will support our Client Relationship Managers throughout each phase of the client journey from prospecting to portfolio management. After about 12 months, we expect that our Associate will take on independent client ownership. More specifically you will: 

• Work closely with Client Relationship Managers (RMs) to build a pipeline of prospective clients and independently qualify inbound sales leads 
• Support due diligence processes by coordinating internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and attend meetings with current and prospective clients, take ownership of client follow-up communication on behalf of Ethic’s RM team, and develop your own presentation skills 
• Contribute to Ethic’s Salesforce, capture diligent notes, and coordinate next steps for current and prospective clients 
• Collate and prepare advisor or end-client specific marketing and education materials based on requests from the RM team and clients
• Manage ongoing account service requests in a timely fashion, ensuring advisors have a great experience
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhancing the client experience 
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Ethic’s technology, approach to sustainability, and portfolio management process in order to better serve our advisor clients

What you’ll bring to the table: 

• 1-3 year of experience in asset management or investment management
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize 
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, in-person and over the phone 
• Excellent problem solving skills 
• Strong knowledge of equity investments, portfolio management, financial planning
• Experience working with financial advisors
• A demonstrated passion for sustainability issues 
• A demonstrated ability to take ownership of your work while effectively collaborating
• An eagerness to partner with our advisor clients in order to provide sustainable investing solutions to their clients
