Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
The fixed income portfolio manager will be responsible for managing various fixed income strategies at DBF and will be judged based on performance versus appropriate benchmarks. Servicing clients is an important part of the job, and this includes delivering client presentations and the preparation of monthly performance statements. The manager will work closely with firm analysts and will work to aid their knowledge and professional development. Having good writing skills is a plus, as the manager must be able to write professional-caliber commentaries that describe forecasts and market dynamics. Finally, it is essential that the manager accept DBF’s culture of teamwork and openness with colleagues and supervisors. Compensation will be based on the manager’s achievements in all of these areas.
An ideal candidate would have a solid academic and professional background in fixed income portfolio management. Knowledge of agency mortgage-backed securities is especially important for this position.
