Key responsibilities
  • The role sits in London within the Global Investor Relations team
  • The IR team plays a lead role in capital raising, business retention & client service efforts for the firm's investment products
  • Promote and raise capital for the firm's global product offering
  • Seeking capital from institutional investors, endowmements, family office, sovereign wealth etc
  • Identify and proactively seek to expand the number of limited partner relationships in specific European countries.
  • Contribute to local and global product development.
  • Establish excellent collaborative working relationships across the business
  • The role will interact regularly with Senior Management, Portfolio Management, Regional Investment Teams, Legal, Accounting, Compliance, etc.
  • Keep abreast of market opportunities and competitors
  • Promote the firm's brand and product and continue to attract new investors to the firm.


Background & Experience
  • Educated to degree level in a related business or analytical subject, finance, management, real estate, economics
  • Degree in real estate, business, or finance and/or relevant certifications such as CFA (desirable).
  • Ideally seeking c.7-10 years' experience capital raising across real estate and/or real estate investments
  • Must have proven fund & capital raising experience
  • Demonstrable real estate experience within the UK and Continental Europe
  • Strong understanding of regional economic and real estate market forecasts
  • Ability to integrate real estate knowledge into communications with clients, prospects, and consultants
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and project management skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Focused, and results oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Equivalent to VP / Junior Director level
  • Fluency in English (essential), additional European language skills (desirable).
