The key responsibilities include the following:
  • Preparation and presentation of timely and accurate portfolio financial information and analytics for the management team
  • Preparation and presentation of board quality outputs for senior management
  • Work closely with asset managers and commercial finance team in the preparation of on-going budgeting and forecasting of all European portfolios
  • Management of portfolio liquidity requirements including development of a reliable cash flow forecast, asset management fees, expense reimbursement and capital expenditure
  • Overseeing and controlling cash management and debt management, whilst maintaining banking relationships for the financing of portfolios
  • Overseeing and coordinating portfolio tax deliverables
  • Overseeing audits, involving the examination of the company's accounts, risk analysis, interrogating current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending measures for improvement


The ideal candidate will be:
  • 5-10 years' post-qualified experience at Financial/Fund/Portfolio Control level ideally within the distressed credit space
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Holding the CFA qualification would be seen to be very useful
  • Established in the real estate sector
  • Knowledgeable of debt restructuring as well as direct NPL servicing
