The ideal candidate will be:
This is a first class opportunity for a well-established Fund/Portfolio Controller who wants to work for a fast growing and swiftly developing private equity business
- Preparation and presentation of timely and accurate portfolio financial information and analytics for the management team
- Preparation and presentation of board quality outputs for senior management
- Work closely with asset managers and commercial finance team in the preparation of on-going budgeting and forecasting of all European portfolios
- Management of portfolio liquidity requirements including development of a reliable cash flow forecast, asset management fees, expense reimbursement and capital expenditure
- Overseeing and controlling cash management and debt management, whilst maintaining banking relationships for the financing of portfolios
- Overseeing and coordinating portfolio tax deliverables
- Overseeing audits, involving the examination of the company's accounts, risk analysis, interrogating current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending measures for improvement
The ideal candidate will be:
- 5-10 years' post-qualified experience at Financial/Fund/Portfolio Control level ideally within the distressed credit space
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Holding the CFA qualification would be seen to be very useful
- Established in the real estate sector
- Knowledgeable of debt restructuring as well as direct NPL servicing
