What you will bring to the firm:

You will have a leadership role within our firm as you provide high level financial planning to a dedicated and expanding book of wealth management clients. As a lead advisor, you are ambitious, adaptable, competitive, analytical and highly resourceful. You are constantly seeking to grow professionally and personally. You are results oriented and seek creative solutions, while having the grit to take ownership of them and implement.

What you will do:

  • Develop and deliver advice and guidance to a sophisticated clientele; tailoring your recommendations to their unique financial plan, as well as their behavioral and family dynamics
  • Lead an unparalleled client service experience
  • Expand your client list by requesting favorable introductions to new prospects and networks
  • Drive firm revenue by expanding the firm’s assets under management, and by placing insurance business as part of your clients’ comprehensive financial plan
  • Lead the development of the other team members who support you with measurable results

What you have:

  • Deep experience with financial planning that isn’t always product based
  • Ability to advise clients on all aspects of their balance sheet including investment accounts, cash management, qualified plans, real estate, credit and alternatives
  • Working understanding of tax thresholds, types of taxation for different instruments and accounts, and the levers for increasing or reducing taxes
  • A background that demonstrates high performance standards and success in business development
  • A comprehensive understanding of financial markets and relentless drive to learn more
  • Series 7, Series 66 and California Life & Health or similar. Unlicensed candidates will be considered but required to obtain the requisite licenses within 120 days of employment
  • CFP, CFA, CPA, J.D. or similar certification or degree
  • Strict adherence to compliance, regulatory and ethical standards as evidenced by a clean U4 and exceptional references
  • Strong organization skills and a disciplined approach to all aspects of your business
  • Experience with mentoring and coaching other professionals
