Position Description:

We are seeking a Vice President, Client Marketing Manager - Latin America, to lead strategy, develop and implement successful marketing plans for a significant, growing region. In this role, you will drive marketing strategy for the Latin America business and sit within the CM Americas Client Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year marketing strategy to support the firm's growth in the region. You will also collaborate with colleagues in the Client Facing, Campaigns, Content, Creative, Events, and Digital teams.

The position may be based in Miami or São Paulo, Brazil, and report to the head of Client Marketing - CM Americas.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high impact, integrated marketing strategies leveraging all marketing platforms, including paid media, digital, multimedia, events, sponsorships, etc. to achieve measurable business objectives that align with business and firm strategic objectives
  • Build positive relationships with the LatAm client-facing team to facilitate communication, proactively find opportunities and challenges, and support execution of marketing efforts
  • Lead campaigns for the region, sometimes using broader Americas campaign plans, ensuring local relevance and that we are driving clients closer to purchasing funds (where appropriate), and improving our investment across each stage of the client life cycle
  • Develop and execute events strategy in collaboration with the client events team
  • Leverage PIMCO's data analytics to compile, analyze and present to the region, including suggestions on how to move forward based on these metrics
  • Foster a strong partnership with compliance to ensure our strategy and all materials produced are in line with local regulations


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in intermediary and institutional marketing in the asset management industry (with experience in/for Latin America)
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese required
  • Direct experience with brand strategy development in a growth market
  • Knowledge of regional media partners (especially in Brazil and Mexico) and experience with both paid and earned media campaigns with such partners
  • Proven record of success partnering with sales teams in acquiring and retaining clients and assets through execution of integrated marketing programs
  • Proven digital marketing skill-set with the ability to understand and segment data for measurement, activation, and segmentation purposes
  • Outstanding project/program management skills and experience in developing, presenting, and executing
  • Strategic and analytical problem solver able to provide creative and practical solutions
