Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the firm's portfolio managers to execute investment strategies and research various trading/custodian considerations
  • Become go-to person for internal client team trading inquiries and understand client constraints such as tax, liquidity, and account optimization
  • Maintain firm's trading system, including:
    • Day to day maintenance of adding/implementing new accounts, adjusting model target weights
    • Adding new securities into the system, making sure they are classified appropriately
    • Cross referencing data results with custodians
    • Trouble shooting system issues
    • Updating internal client team's about system tech enhancements, best practices
  • Assist with calculating official performance statistics of various firm strategies/portfolios
  • Become knowledgeable about the firm's investment holdings and understanding the trading nuances involved with them

Qualifications

Applicants should have all of the following:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or a related field with high grades
  • 2+ yrs. Finance experience, trading/investment securities is a plus
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-started, takes initiative
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
  • Accurate, organized, able to set priorities
  • Of the highest integrity
  • Maintain a "Client-first" attitude
  • Desire and ability to work successfully in a small company environment
  • Curious about financial markets / investments
  • Able to perform under tight time constraints

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation includes salary plus incentive based on experience and industry standards. Generous benefits include: Fully Paid Medical Plan (with no in network co-pays or deductibles), Dental, Vision, Life and AD & D, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability FSA, Generous 401(k) match, Traditional and Roth 401(k), up to $400 for gym reimbursement.
