Lead Developer - Equity Analytics

Position Description:

A full stack front office developer who will work as part of the technology team to build software for Equity Analytics and Portfolio Managers. Candidate will work closely with quantitative research team and multiple technology teams based on the requirements. These projects will leverage elements of our internal software development frameworks, open source technologies, agile SDLC, big data, and traditional databases. Initial focus for the candidate would be to take over equity portfolio optimization and trading process.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a front office capacity working in the investment management domain
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. A higher degree in Computer Science or engineering is desirable.
• Strong OOP skills with hands on experience in Python required, working knowledge of Python Dash
• Intermediate SQL/Database Query experience required
• Strong analytical ability to learn independently from the code / reverse engineer
• Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exposure to finance (degree/CFA/work experience) is a plus
• Experience of working with AXIOMA Optimization Software, equity data sets like BARRA/ITG and understanding of the equity data/models is a plus
• Snowflake/AWS exposure is preferred
