Your role and impact

We are seeking to hire a U.S. ETF Product Development and Integrity Lead. This product development and management role is part of the U.S. ETF Product Engineering ("PrE") team which is responsible for designing and launching new ETFs and for enhancing existing ETFs to ensure they meet iShares' high standards for performance and quality.

This role is focused on the design and ongoing quality management of U.S.-listed ETFs across fixed income, equity and commodities and includes regular communication with senior EII management as well as the presentation of board proposals to launch new, and enhance existing, ETF products.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of markets, investment vehicles, and product structuring. An ability to develop strong relationships and lead large, complex initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders is critical to success.

The role can be based in San Francisco, Atlanta, or New York.

Your responsibilities
  • Oversee development and design of new US-listed iShares ETFs, turning commercial ideas into investible products
  • Partner with BlackRock's product innovation and product strategy teams on key new product development decisions including index design and construction, product structuring, and regulatory considerations
  • Oversee quality of the existing US-listed iShares ETF range, ensuring product integrity and driving the product enhancement agenda
  • Understand the competitive landscape to anticipate challenges and areas of opportunity for product quality enhancements
  • Apply knowledge of U.S. and international legal, regulatory, and capital markets requirements to identify and drive effective decision-making related to product design
  • Present proposals for new products and enhancements to existing products to internal committees and fund boards


You have...
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services with meaningful experience in product development and product management
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA, MFE and/or CFA credential a plus
  • Experience in ETF product development, product structuring, product origination or financial product management is highly desired
  • An understanding of markets and investments, portfolio construction, and index construction methodologies
  • Ability to drive consensus and handle conflicting views and competing interests
  • Commercial awareness and ability to understand client needs and ways to solve them
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Highly organised and able to manage to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to pick up and digest new information quickly
  • Strong proven project management skills and proactive approach to lead and drive projects and business priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and presentation abilities
