Position Description

CITIC CLSA is looking for a number of high performing individuals to join its Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities business division ("FICC"). These individuals will be an integral part of the Global FICC team with specific responsibilities in appraising investment proposals and reviewing trading portfolios. The individuals must have credit research and investment analytical experience and possess a sound understanding of the credit markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform credit research and analysis on fixed income portfolios covering the global credit markets.
  • Appraise illiquid investment proposals and monitor existing investment projects
  • Prepare regular commentaries on credit markets
  • Present fixed income views at public forums and conferences


Requirements
  • Degree holder of Economics and Finance, or a related discipline
  • Chartered Financial Analyst holder or Professional Accountancy qualification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of Credit analyst coverage on Chinese names with a renowned onshore Securities House or a Global Investment Bank.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong understanding of Corporate Credit fundamentals
  • Ability to tap insights and source data points from onshore channels to aid with analytics, appraisals and investment reviews.
  • Ability to build and deploy quantitative tools for data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
