The Senior Solutions Strategist will be actively involved in the design, creation and build out of Defined Contribution (DC) investment solutions with a heavy focus on Retirement Income/ Decumulation and Fixed Income strategies


  • Play a central role in the design, construction and execution of DC Investment solutions – specific but not exclusive to Retirement Income
  • Ensure that investment strategies are efficient from an investment, accounting and regulatory standpoint – easy to understand and to explain to the DC market place.
  • Ensure that DC investment solutions are market ready - are appropriate “fits” for both current DC and future DC market conditions
  • Prepare and deliver DC investment presentations to investment consultants, aggregators, advisors, clients, and prospects.
  • Participate in industry conferences and affiliations as well as pertinent industry surveys, studies and research projects where appropriate to enhance LGIMA’s DC brand and market presence
  • Provide insight, ideas and input to relevant LGIMA thought leadership and white paper creation that conveys our best think in the decumulation phase of DC
  • Understand DC investment solution competitive landscape and understand how we differentiate ourselves


  • Minimum of 10+ years of direct experience in the DC market, most favorably from consulting or asset management
  • Strong investment product development/ product design and architecture experience
  • Strong DC investment product knowledge desired specifically to QDIA’s such as:
  • Target Date Funds, Managed Accounts
  • Strong Retirement Income/ Decumulation Solutions in DC desired if possible
  • Strong knowledge of DC investment classes coincident with delivery vehicles in: ’40 Act, CIT and institutional separate account
  • CFA desired
  • Understand how LGIMA’s products and services can be shaped and developed to meet current and future market demands
  • Stay current on all DC Legislative and regulatory changes and understand their respective impacts on our DC investment business
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Superior analytical skills
