To strengthen its Fundamental Equities team in the Developed Markets Equities building block, APG Asset Management is looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager with a specfialization in the Health Care sector to be located in APG Asset Management’s New York office.
Responsibilities
As Senior Portfolio Manager you will be part of the Fundamental Equities Team which will consists of 27 investment professionals, located in Amsterdam, New York and Hong Kong. You will be responsible for co-managing the sector portfolio Health Care, investing in equities in developed markets with a target to outperform the relevant benchmark. You will perform both stock-specific as well as sector-trend research and analysis and maintain detailed valuation models as a basis for security selection. You will have frequent contact with management from companies in the sector as well as with research analysts.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a portfolio manager with more than 15 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager Equities, of which more than 10 years in the Health Care sector with a proven track record. Candidates should have an industry accreditation such as CFA or CEFA/RBA.

You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should have good communications skills and have the seniority to be a credible challenger of management of investee companies. You have a thorough understanding of concepts of portfolio risk management and a long-term investment orientation. You believe in responsible ownership and sustainable development.
