Investment Counselor

The Role :

- Identify, research & evaluate investment opportunities across a full range of asset classes i.e. Equities, Bonds/Fixed Income, Mutual/Hedge Funds, Currencies

- Liaise with external investment counterparties to gather quantitative and fundamental research to generate investment ideas

- Perform daily risk monitoring of investments and all portfolios within the team

- Manage performance of new and existing investments with daily focus on actual returns

Qualifications :

- Formal qualifications (University degree AND other relevant qualifications). A CFA/CAIA/CFP and/or MBA/MSc would be a plus

- Min 3-5 years of relevant advisory services /assets management /investment research experience

- Computer skills i.e. EXCEL, VBA/Python/other coding language

- Fluent in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin is preferred

- Experience in dealing with end clients will be a plus

Remuneration will be based on a solid and attractive fixed salary plus a variable based on the quantifiable performance impact within portfolios
