Centiva Capital LP is a multi-strategy hedge fund. We are looking for an experienced senior analyst (8-12+ years) to join our Los Angeles based special situations trading team.
- Conduct fundamental equity and credit research on event-driven ideas
- Proactively identify, analyze, and track universe of potential events and corporate actions, building and maintaining forecasts, valuation models, and databases
- Conduct due diligence, including
- Reading and analyzing relevant SEC filings, court orders, regulatory docs, etc.
- Participate in company earnings calls, meetings and presentations, speak with senior management/IR
- Consult with outside experts to understand rationale and industry landscape/trends
- Speak with sell-side analysts to determine consensus views
- Assess legal/regulatory/tax/financing risks
- Effectively communicate opinions, new information, and market developments to Portfolio Manager
