Country Risk Analyst, APAC

Looking for an entry-level / graduate Asia Country Risk Analyst keen to develop analytical and research career with a leading financial institution.

As a junior analyst, you will be contributing to market intelligence by providing analytical research for senior decision makers in banks, consultancies, MNCs, funds and government agencies.

Areas of focus:
  • Macroeconomics
  • Political Risk
  • Financial Markets
  • Industry Sectors

Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to and preparing analytical research
  • Managing a portfolio of countries
  • Producing reports assessing risks
  • Creating 5/10-year forecast scenarios
  • Overseeing key financial market developments
  • Identifying actionable investment strategies
  • Collaborating with industry analysts globally

Requirements:
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in economic analysis, forecasting, country risk analysis etc.
  • Keen interest in economics, financial markets and world affairs.
  • Previous experience in analysis and research of Asian macroeconomics, political risk and financial markets (either professional or during studies)
  • Graduate internship in country / sovereign risk analytics ideal

Role offers extensive training in country risk analysis including access to comprehensive training material and seminars hosted by senior research analysts. External training, e.g. CFA, is encouraged and subsidised.
