Senior Associate, Real Estate Debt Advisory

My Client, a London based Corporate Finance/Investment Management business, seeks a Senior Associate/Assistant Director level Real Estate professional to join their wider UK business.

The role will involve :

• Advising and supporting clients across M&A execution, Debt Advisory and Capital Raising

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of transactions which includes preparation of information memoranda, transaction structuring, valuation analysis and management presentations, and taking responsibility for the preparation of information and client communications
• Drive and take ownership through different phases of the process and be the client "point person"
• Preparation of presentation books, memorandums, management presentations, board materials and other presentation materials for use in corporate finance transactions or strategic client dialogue
• Assist the head of the team in identifying potential transactions and clients
• Build and review of complex financial models, helping manage transaction or debt advisory processes and assisting in structuring
• Industry research for both deal origination and transaction analysis
• Supporting investor dialogue in relevant transactions
• Developing and managing client relationships

Suitable candidates will ideally possess 5-7 years execution experience across the Real Estate markets, a strong academic track record and professional qualifications (such as ACA/CFA) and a good understanding of debt structuring, particularly project finance type cashflows and covenants. Further, they will possess excellent quantitative skills, particularly financial modelling (DCF/LBO etc).
