Oxford Valuation Partners (OVP) is a leading global financial advisory firm, specializing in Private Company Valuation. OVP works with over 600 growth companies and venture capital/private equity firms to provide critical business services to assist clients in raising capital, issuing securities, buying companies and heading towards IPO/SPAC merger or sale. Our work spans market transactions, tax, financial reporting, trusts & estates and complex situations.

Job Description

Oxford is looking for qualified and motivated individuals. We are ready to give you an opportunity to contribute to a variety of valuation and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients' complex business issues.

Responsibilities include:

- Valuation modeling including income approach analyses such as DCF models and option pricing models

- Assist with preparation of spreadsheets and narrative reports

- Verify completeness and accuracy of data

- Responsibility for quality control, timing, and accuracy of deliverables

- Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients

- Balance multiple engagements and responsibilities

-  Assist other team members with engagements tasks

- Perform other duties as needed

Details:

Position Title: Valuation Intern 

Position Type: Full-time internship 

Start: May/2021

Duration: 3-4 months, with a possibility of extending to a full-time position in the company

Localization: New York – NY

Estimated Hours per Week: 40

Schedule: 9:30 am-7:00 pm MON-FRI

Compensation: Market

Requirements /Qualifications:

Must have completed at least  3rd year of undergraduate program in accounting/Finance/Analytics/Business or related field degree; Or 1st year of MBA program

Business Valuation course/class is a plus

Strong finance, economics, and/or accounting background required

Professional demeanor & integrity, respect & teamwork

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Acrobat

Excellent writing skills and communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management

Outstanding research, analytical, spreadsheet skills

Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, and to adjust schedule to address workload demands and meet deadlines

Extremely comfortable working in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment

Fluent in English is mandatory. Proficiency in a second language (both written and oral) is a plus

No previous work experience required, training will be provided
