Analyst Role Description: 

The Analyst will be part of our firm’s Research Team. The primary responsibility of the analyst is to two-fold, (1) assist our Research Team in analyzing investment products and direct investment opportunities, (2) work with Relationship Managers to provide excellent service to our clients. This role is not client-facing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The role has two distinctive facets, which are: 

Research: Analyst utilizes the tools and information of the firm to prepare analysis and reports to support Stelac’s investment process. Analyst will analyze Private Equity and Venture Capital funds and deals, Hedge Funds, ETFs, Mutual Funds and more.

Research Sales: Analyst supports the client acquisition & retention effort of the Firm by preparing presentations, reviewing fee schedules, and analyzing the prospects portfolio.

Required Technical Knowledge & skills:

Demonstrated understanding of the Equity and Fixed Income markets, as well as broad understanding of Assets Classes and Portfolio Construction process.

Broad understanding of investment strategies across asset classes including alternative investments.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, economics or equivalent). Work towards the completion of the CFA program is a plus. 

Microsoft Suite, Bloomberg. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills. Coding/database knowledge a plus.

Zero to two years of experience in financial services industry.
