The US Growth Equities Team for EFG Asset Management is looking for a Junior Buy Side Analyst to support research into the various sub-sectors of Healthcare (Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Services). We are seeking candidates that have familiarity with one or more aspects of healthcare - along with strong analytical skills. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire for everyday learning are essential for the position.

Specific duties include;

-Analyzing products, services, and pipeline assets across the sector.

-Writing company specific reports and building financial/valuation models.

-Identifying new stock candidates for the portfolios.

-Tracking sector themes and changes in market sentiment.

-Interacting with sell-side analysts, healthcare industry contacts, and company management.

-Presenting to existing clients and prospects.

-Traveling as needed to industry events & sell-side conferences.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in either Finance or the Biological/Physical Sciences and competency with spreadsheet software & forecasting. Underlying knowledge of the equity markets and/or progress toward the CFA is preferred.
