E.C. Ellis is working with an exciting high growth business. Our client is at the forefront of changes happening in online retail and associated services. The tax team is looking to hire a new group tax manager based in their scenic Porto office. They're looking for a qualified tax accountant who is well experienced in a wide array of tax matters.

Your Skills & Experience:

• A qualified tax accountant 
• 5 - 8 years of experience within a wide array of tax matters
• Especially international tax, IFRS & SOX controls
• Well versed with various tax specific software applications
• Proven experience within project and stakeholder management
• Strong communicator with a growth mindset 
• Business and solution-oriented problem solver
• Fluent English (written & oral)
• French knowledge (desirable)
• E-commerce experience (desirable)

Job Focus:

• Managing the group tax accounting, compliance and TP documentation 
• Support and coordinate tax audits, including working with external providers
• Assisting local entities within the group on tax specific matters
• Collaborating with other departments on interconnected group matters
