About this role
Business & Team Description:

BlackRock's US Wealth Advisory business ("USWA") sits at the center of three foundational pillars of BlackRock's strategy - delivering indexed and alpha-seeking solutions in the context of an entire portfolio; driving the adoption of Aladdin to help wealth managers build portfolios and manage risk; and innovating the wealth management model through the adoption of technology.

Managing BlackRock's relationships with US wealth management firms and advisors, USWA is BlackRock's largest distribution business and a critical growth engine. The USWA team is responsible for the commercialization of the firm's full suite of products (iShares; active-seeking strategies; and alternatives); portfolio solutions and digital practice management solutions.

The USWA COO Strategy and Business Management team is responsible for articulating and executing against the strategic direction of USWA and leading the operating cadence of the business. The team supports executive, sales segment and functional leadership to develop a deep understanding of our business performance and competitive landscape, communicate the story of business to internal and external constituencies, build and execute on business and resourcing plans, and lead a range of initiatives to shape our business' go-forward trajectory.

  • Partner with Finance administering the business and actively managing budgets and forecasts - revenue, expense, and headcount
  • Execute Workday transactions and ensure that hiring/transfers/exits are all executed effectively with HR
  • Support the development of presentation materials and analyses to communicate results and other content relevant to business or channel efforts
  • Develop quantitative analyses and qualitative research, synthesizing and presenting findings, to support business cases and drive execution on clear action steps
