The Securitized Products Finance team is the part of the Global Securitized Products Group and responsible for the global origination, structuring and execution of a variety of ABS offerings across asset types. The Commercial Real Estate ("CRE") Group is accountable for a full spectrum of activity within the CRE lending, securitization and advisory products, services and sectors:
  • Conduit and "Large Loan" origination and securitization (ie, Fixed Rate and Floating Rate CRE mortgages, $250mm-$2bln, 2-, 5-, 7- and 10-year term; single-asset or single-borrower securitizations)
  • Warehouse Facilities (acquisition bridge and Repo financing for key clients); Advisory services and assignments including agented securitizations for 3rd party issuers
The CRE Capital Markets team is responsible the full spectrum of securitization activity. Including but not limited to distribution of subordinate debt positions, negotiation of transaction documents, interaction with rating agencies, legal counsel, accountants as well as warehouse financing, mortgage loan diligence and credit review, client relationship management, advisory assignments and new product development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day responsibilities and assisting Senior Transaction Manager on principal and agented securitization transactions. Requiring extensive interaction and coordination of Loan Seller partners, legal counsel, accounting firms, rating agencies, trustees, servicers and investors.
  • Assist in the preparation, and evaluation of securitization documents. Including all legal and structural matters in conjunction with internal and external legal and the trading desk.
  • Manage existing client relationships and deal teams.
  • Provide mentorship and support to both external client deal teams, partner dealers and coordinate, train and supervise junior analyst resources.
  • Mitigate risk exposure to Credit Suisse through detailed diligence activities, agreed upon procedures and prepare disclosure contained in securities offering materials.
  • Warehouse facilities: client coverage and asset diligence and credit committee presentations.
  • Work in a team oriented environment within Asset Finance as well as with other groups within Securitized Products (Trading, Sales and Research).

  • B.A. required (MBA, CPA or CFA optional)!
  • Equivalent experience of at least 2-3 years in a CRE lending or securitization function
  • Strong foundation in basic real estate fundamentals and CMBS securitization matters.
  • Strong communication skills!
  • Proven experience in the preparation and presentation of summary. And roadshow materials specific to CRE securitizations for rating agencies and investors across both fixed and floating rate multi-borrower transactions, single asset and large loan transactions and agented third party deals.
  • Proven experience in managing client communications and relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications required, particularly Excel and Powerpoint (Bloomberg preferred but not required).
