Finance Analyst

Responsibilities:

● Assisting in monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management and investors

● Support the preparation of budgets/forecasts

● Support capital raising activities/due diligence efforts/investor relations

● Liaise with partner accounting firms, to ensure the smooth running of accounting ops and delivery of accounting reports in a timely manner

● Perform general account analysis and reconciliation as needed

● Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities

● Answer queries and provide assistance to stakeholders, including customers, colleagues and clients, as needed

● Suggest changes or improvements and (re)design processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and automation ● Other ad-hoc projects as required

Minimum Requirements:

● BSc/MSc degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

● 2-3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, consulting or equivalent

● Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in accordance with IFRS ● Proficiency using MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Google Applications (G-drive, docs, sheets, etc.)

● Self-starter, motivated, proficient, and passionate with great organization skills and attention to detail ● Ability to work independently and on own initiative with minimal supervision

● Fluency in English

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Strives in a fast-paced, quick changing environment
