Junior Research Analyst

What You'll Do

• Build competency and knowledge in multiple industries including consumer hardlines, softlines, internet, and specialty retail.
• Write industry and company reports.
• Develop financial models.
• Work collaboratively with research team on research publishing, modeling, company and client interaction.
• Interpret data and perform analysis on market, economic and fundamental trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 2-4 years of research and analysis experience required.
• A track record of measurable success in prior roles.
• Motivated, intelligent, detail-oriented with effective communication skills and ability to work seamlessly with others.
• Ability to manage priorities, workloads, and deadlines both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently in addition to working in a collaborative environment.
• Capable of critical thinking and offering thematic conclusions to research team for evaluation.
• Data oriented with strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Willingness to work long and flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Associate Research Analyst

What You'll Do

• Build competency and knowledge in multiple industries with a focus on technology.
• Write industry and company reports.
• Develop financial models.
• Perform channel research by building robust network of sector relationships using strong communication and phone skills.
• Support the research team in summarizing channel work for inclusion in industry and company focused reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; at least 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience working in the technology industry, preferably in sales or marketing, and especially in cloud, datacenter is a bonus.
• Ability to manage priorities, workloads, and deadlines both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently in addition to working in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to think outside the box and provide input to help improve processes and grow the business.
