Firm Information

Cambridge Associates is a privately held independent investment firm serving more than 990 clients worldwide. For more than 40 years, Cambridge Associates has advised foundations, endowments, private clients, pensions, government agencies, sovereign wealth funds and healthcare institutions on constructing, managing, and overseeing their investment assets. The firm was founded in 1973 to serve as an external research arm to educational endowments, and our investment advisory practice grew out of this solid research foundation. Today the firm delivers a range of services across asset classes, including investment advising, discretionary portfolio management, research and investment tools, and performance monitoring. Widely recognized as an investment advisory firm to sophisticated institutional investors, we place a special emphasis on maintaining independence from money management firms we recommend for inclusion in client portfolios. Our investment teams understand how to identify and evaluate global investment opportunities and recommend investment strategies that recognize specific operating and governance issues that institutions face.

We have a staff of more than 360 client-facing professionals and 280 research professionals in eight cities globally including four in the United States (Boston, Dallas, Menlo Park, and Arlington, VA), as well as Beijing, London, Singapore and Sydney. We select our colleagues with great attention to their potential to become a valuable member of a collegial, intelligent and hard-working team. More information can be found at .
