Jr. Marketing Associate

Dalton Investments is an institutional Asia equity manger located in Santa Monica and is seeking a Junior Marketing Associate for its Las Vegas office.

Junior Marketing Associate Position

This position will report to both Director of Marketing and Client Service. Primary marketing responsibilities will include support of senior marketers, coordination and preparation of marketing presentations, newsletter production and distribution, and executing special marketing related projects.   The position will also work directly with the operations and finance team in preparing and delivering client reports, fulfilling client performance updates, assisting with completion of ad hoc client requests, and handling any other responsibilities which may be assigned.   In addition, the role will have exposure to the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and providing as needed support.  

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get exposure to the marketing and client service side of an institutional investment manager.   This position will give you contact with many aspects of a buyside investment firm and allow for deep understanding of the financial markets. 

Requirements

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Computer skills required: Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Highly organized, motivated and detail oriented.
• Interest in investment management and a strong desire to build client servicing and marketing skill set.
